Barbara Nelson, principal of Nelson Communications, has been designing and conducting business communication workshops for private and public organizations for over 20 years. She trains people at all levels — from executives to engineers to administrative assistants. She also teaches Business Communication: Writing and Speaking for the University of California at Berkeley through its University Extension program, and has extensive experience working with foreign-born writers and speakers.

In addition, Barbara writes and edits business and technical material, and works with individuals and groups to help them produce documents that are professional and persuasive.

Barbara received her BA in English from the University of Michigan and her MA in English from San Francisco State University.
